This paper addresses the creation of virtual analyzers with the help of a two-level algorithm.
This algorithm is similar to the ?predictor-corrector' used for the numerical resolution of differential equations.
The operative forecast of product quality is done by correcting the laboratory data, and adjustments are calculated by using deterministic process models and changing the operating parameters.
The independent parameters of the models are corrected by using the ?sliding window method' when new laboratory data are obtained.
This algorithm was created as an SL-program on a SCADA-system distillation plant for the separation of paraffins C9-C21, and has shown good convergence of forecast results between trial operation and laboratory data.
