Hydrogen Production Process Design and Economics: Part II
Wednesday, November 7, 2007 - 8:30am to 8:55am
The Sulfur-Iodine thermochemical hydrogen process has undergone several iterations since the cycle was first proposed in the early 1970's. These changes were driven by considerations of efficiency, economics and experimentally derived knowledge. The evolution of the current General Atomics flowsheet will be discussed. Flowsheet options proposed by other investigators will also be described.
