(378e) Enforcement Update

This presentation will provide a summary of recent developments arising in EPA's enforcement of the various environmental statutes. Specifically, the presenter will summarize EPA's recent enforcement efforts to date and update the attendees regarding EPA's current enforcement initiatives and topics of concern. In reviewing these developments, the presenter will also include discussion regarding some key principles for identifying and resolving enforcement actions, actions a staff engineer might want to take upon discovering noncompliance and considerations in evaluating next steps.
