Augmentation of mass transfer rates due to the presence of coaxially placed discs inserts in the flow of electrolyte were presented in this paper. local limiting current data were obtained at various flow rates using promoters of varying disc diameter and height of the disc. Wide range of variables are covered, disc diameter varied as 0.02, 0.03, 0.04 m and height of the disc varied as 0, 0.25, 0.50 m. Disc inserts have significant effect on the enhancement of mass transfer, The augmentation varied from 1 to 6 folds over tube with out promoter.
