Semiconducting metal oxide nanostructures with controllable morphologies are an important expanding area in the field of nanotechnology. Specially, CuO is particularly being focus on because of its extensive applications in catalysts, batteries, gas sensors and field transistors. In order to utilize these numerous applications, simple, low cost and environmentally friendly methods must be developed to synthesize CuO nanostructures. In this research, a novel method is used to synthesize unique CuO nanostructure. SEM, TEM and XRD are applied to characterize the novel CuO nanostructure.
