Advances in Protein Structure, Function and Stability I

Chair(s)

Park, S., State University of New York at Buffalo

Advances in Protein Structure, Function, and Stability: We invite submissions in the areas of experimental, theoretical, and computational approaches to prediction, design, and/or optimization of protein structure, stability, and function. Studies may include structural analysis and engineering of proteins, creation or optimization of function, conformational analysis, analysis of thermal stability, mechanism of protein folding and misfolding, modes of protein degradation via physical and chemical routes, and other issues involving (over)expression, purification, and final biopharmaceutical product formulation. Reports of studies both in laboratory and processing settings relevant to all biotechnology products are welcome. Investigations of molecular pathways and mechanisms that provide insights into human diseases and potential treatments are of particular interest to this session.
