Clayton Christensen's books beginning with THE INNOVATOR'S DILEMMA have made disruptive innovation a hot topic in many companies. This session will focus on how this type of innovation and be encouraged and managed to bring new growth to both small and large companies. Topics can include both how a company can disrupt a market and how established companies can defend their markets against disrutption. The session will also include papers describing new educational approaches for technical management and a paper on safety in technical management.
