Plant tests must be performed to optimize plant operation and to achieve process stainability. However, plant managers and plant engineers do not consider their production facilities to be pilot plants. Their hesitancy to doing a plant test can be overcome by thoroughly planning and organizing the effort. This session discusses the planning, organization, and execution of plant tests. Also presented are critical factors and considerations for a successful career in manufacturing.
