(351a) Green Engineering Activities In the Pharmaceutical Industry

This presentation will provide an overview of the Green Engineering Program within the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics of the US EPA, collaborative activities with other partners in academia, the regions, industry and governmental agencies to reduce the environmental footprint of the pharmaceutical industry. The presentation will also discuss potential opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry based on recent activities primarily addressing the impact of waste solvents.
