Intellectual Assets in the Digital Era
Tuesday, November 18, 2008 - 4:05pm to 4:30pm
Companies employ various strategies for exploiting their intellectual property assets including licensing them, preventing others from using them (obtaining an injunction from a court), preventing the importation into the U.S. of products that infringement them, and even simply building up an arsenal of them. The speaker will explore those strategies including recent changes in the law impacting them. The speaker will also discuss options available to resolve disputes related to intellectual property assets outside of litigation.
