(359f) Future Directions of Mixing Research

Hardware and software developments will change the way mixing equipment is selected and designed for particular process results in the 21st century. Maximizing yields, minimizing waste and optiming energy usage will become important issues that have to be considered in process development and operations. This presentation will dicsuss some of the techniques that will be used to achieve these goals.
