(483e) Thermodynamics: A Fifty Year Review

Thermodynamics is a central course in chemical engineering programs. Over the last 50 years chemical engineering has evolved and moved into new areas. In this talk, the evolution of chemical engineering thermodynamics at both the macroscopic and microscopic levels will be reviewed into these new areas will be discussed.
