Poster Session: Fundamentals and Applications of Adsorption and Ion Exchange
Thursday, November 20, 2008 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Light olefins are basic raw materials in synthetic chemistry. Cu compound impregnated on solid substrate is prepared, which adsorb selectively light olefins while being amenable to be employed for removing, and recovering substantial quantities of light olefins from the corresponding paraffins. This adsorbent shows high adsorption capacity and fast sorption/desorption rates for light olefin molecules.
The result for propylene/propane separation by pressure swing adsorption process using the above adsorbent is also presented.
