In-situ polymerization of ion gel system was conducted in this study. The ion gel systems include methylmethacrylate (MMA) monomer, crosslinking agent, and ionic liquid (IL) 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIPF6). The transparent, self-standing and flexible t ion gel products were obtained. The ion gel systems with different weight ratio of MMA to IL exhibit high room temperature conductivity and good thermal stability. The ion transfer behavior and its temperature dependency were also investigated. The structure of crosslinked network of ion gel was studied by swelling ratio.
