Energy derived from fusion is expected to have very low environmental impacts relative to other sources of energy. This session provides a venue for the advancement of new research and technology in the fusion energy sector with particular focus on fusion energy environmental impacts. Papers which discuss the development and status of the ITER cooling water, atmosphere/vent detritiation systems for the ITER fusion energy project are highly encouraged. Papers which address other aspects of low tritium processing are also encouraged.
