We report dynamic light-scattering measurements obtained in an aqueous solution of 3-methylpyridine. The dynamic correlation function of this solution appears to reveal two distinct physical relaxation modes: one associated with a normal molecular diffusion process and another one associated with mesoscopic network relaxation. To obtain further insight into the nature of the apparent mesoscopic structures in the solution we have made systematic studies of the nature of the observed time and wave-number dependence of the dynamics of this mesoscopic relaxation mode as a function of temperature and concentration.
