Energy and environmental sustainability is vital for China's economic growth. In this presentation, the author will discuss (i) current challenges of chemical process industries in China, (ii) progress of green process engineering in transforming green chemistry/science into practical impacts, and (iii) innovation opportunity in areas of traditional process, new energy and high value products.
