New catalytic technologies are crucial to meet global energy demand in an increasingly carbon-constrained landscape. Accordingly, this session focuses on the development of catalytic routes to fuels from biomass, petroleum, and coal. The emphasis will be on catalyst- and process development for transport fuels, though sound fundamental or commercial studies in related areas are also encouraged.
