Novel Catalytic Imaging Techniques

Chair(s)

Sharma, R., Arizona State University

Co-chair(s)

Rioux, R., Harvard University

The imaging of the structural and chemical composition of catalytic materials from the atomic to the macroscale is critical to the development of highly active and selective catalysts. This session seeks contributions in the development and application of imaging techniques to the study of both planar model and high-surface area catalytic materials. Relevant imaging techniques include but not are limited to transmission electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy, positron tomography/profiling, thermography, and microprobe spectroscopy.
