Isotactic polypropylene (iPP) nanocomposites reinforced with carbon nanofibers (CNFs) and Fe@Feo nanoparticles are fabricated by an ex-situ method. The nano fillers are dispersed in the boiling PP/xylene solution. The dispersion quality of the nanophase materials in the polymer matrix is investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), indicating a uniform dispersion in PP. X-ray diffractograms (XRD) was used to determine the influence of the fillers on the crystallinity of PP. Thermal properties are characterized by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetric analysis (DSC). The electrical conductivity and the magnetic property of the manufactured sample were studied. The prepared nanocomposites are further processed into thin films by hot press. The mechanical properties of the nanocomposites thin film are presented. The rheological behaviors of the nanocomposites melts have also been investigated and covered in this study.
