Nanostructured Particles for Catalysis

Nano Structured Titanium Dioxide Aeorogel Catalyst with impregnated Tungsten and Iron were developed. These catalyst were synthesized using supercritical fluids for drying and impregnation/doping and exhibit high porosity and photocatalytic acivity both in the UV and visible range. Portfolio of characterization techniques using SEM, XRD, FTIR, UV and FIB used analyze the catalyst while MB degredation reaction was used to study effectiveness of the reaction.
