The availability of mango skin in the tropical region of the world is extensive enough to capture the interest of researchers. Dilute acid pretreatment have also been realized by adding additional acid to compensate for the capacity of minerals in the substrate to neutralize some of the acid wich hass received considerable research attention over the years, as well as steam explosion which removes most of the hemicellulose, thus improving the enzymatic digestion. SEM pictures showed the effect of explosion and hydrolysis. SEM data correlations provided additional insight into the pretreatment process.
