(374z) Kinetics of Lime and Hydrogen Peroxyde Pretreatment of Lignocellulosic Waste

Kinetic modeling of oxidative lime pretreatment for several different types of agricultural waste (palm oil residue, sugarcane bagasse, sugarcane leaves, and wax palm seeds-peel) was obtained for lignin and carbohydrates degradation. Experimental data was collected using a full factorial and a D-optimal experimental design. These experimental designs were useful to make the confidence intervals for the obtained model parameters as small as possible. Resulting models were used to calculate and analyze pretreatment selectivity.
