(193j) Vapor–Liquid Equilibrium for the Binary System Carbon Dioxide + Limonene At Supercritical Conditions

The increasing in the interest in alternative separation processes has made the supercritical fluid extraction an affordable method due to its several advantages. However, the lack of good experimental data makes really hard to know the phase behavior of studied systems and develop these new processes.

In this work, vapor liquid equilibrium for the binary system limonene + carbon dioxide was measured at three different temperatures 323, 348 and 373 K using a static-analytic method coupled to a mobile sampler-injector. The ROLSI sampler has the advantage of taking a small enough sample to avoid perturbations of the equilibrium conditions. The experimental data are consistent with data reported in the literature.
