A nonenzymatic glucose sensor was investigated based on bimetallic nanoclusters modified electrode in this study. The nanoclusters were prepared by combination of electrospinning technique with calcination method. The morphology of the nanoclusters was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The structure and composition of nanoclusters was investigated by X-ray diffraction. The electrochemical performance of the as-prepared nanoclusters modified electrode for glucose detection was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and amperometry.  Compared to the electrode modified by single metal component, the bimetallic nanoclusters modified electrode showed higher sensitivity towards glucose and better selectivity against ascorbic acid and uric acid. Other analytical characteristics were also reported.
