(269e) Sustainability Assessment of Alternate Urban Food Production Regime

We present a Life Cycle Assessment approach to evaluate the sustainability of alternative urban food production regime based on urban gardening. The study systematically evaluates the environmental impact of fresh vegetables grown in urban settings through sustainable agricultural practices. Conflicting, Interactions such as water requirements-soil organic carbon disturbance-environmental benefits would be systematically analyzed.
