One of the key physical parameters for successful degradation of humic acid, for the case of direct Pulsed Corona Discharges was determined to be the electrode-to-electrode gap. In this, we are texting this parameter in the degradation of kappa-casein and reporting results of its effects on degradation. Non-thermal high oxidation method, a novel oxidation technique based on localized electrical discharge has been used successfully to degrade high molecular weight organic compounds (dye solutions, humic acids and fulvic acids) before. In this research, a pulsed corona discharge was applied to reduce kappa-casein in aqueous solutions and the effects of pH, and frequency were investigated.
