Polymer nanocomposites comprising of diphenylamine end-group polymer and WO3 nanoparticles were fabricated electrochemically through its monomer and WO3 suspended solution on an indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass. The film growth was investigated by electrochemical methods such as cyclic voltammetry (CV). These films were also characterized by FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopies, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It was shown that many of these WO3 nanoparticless were uniformly distributed in the polymeric matrix by microscopy and SEM. The electrochromical window was also assembled by a home-made electrochemical cell and found to be air-stable even after 100 times scan. The UV-Visible incorporated electrochemical spectroscopies were also studied on the composite films as they display different colors under different applied potentials in the range of 0-2 V vs. Ag/AgCl.
