Abstract:

Decentralized magnetization roasting-magnetic separation was used to process a sort of gold mine tailings, with the purpose of recycling the iron resources. Tailings was magnetization roasting under the conditions of 850℃, CO volume percentage was 2%, then determined the right roasting time to get roasted ore. Magnetic separation was proceed with orthogonal test, focused on the effect of Magnetic field intensity and the dosage of dispersant and flocculent to concentrate grade and iron recovery. The experimental results indicate that after magnetization roasting under the conditions of  850℃,CO volume percentage was 2%, roasting time was 5min,then proceed magnetic separation at Magnetic field intensity was 900Oe, the dosage of dispersant and flocculent was 0.05g/20g and 0.1128g/20g, a concentrate assaying 57.15% Fe with 81.43% recovery was achieved.
