Process Engineering has undergone significant transformation over the last 30 years, driven by chemical engineering innovations and collaborative engineering best practices, catalysed by software innovations. These transformations have created tremendous value for many companies resulting in capital and energy savings, together with increased safety, reliability and sustainability.
This presentation will discuss specific innovations and engineering collaboration best practices, highlight examples of recent successes in the industry and opportunities ahead. It will cover experiences across the asset lifecycle including R&D, conceptual engineering, basic engineering and engineering support to manufacturing and planning.
Chemical companies face an incredibly challenging and highly competitive environment. They need to explore ways to reduce costs associated with plant design, operation, maintenance and efficient use of energy, whilst increasing sustainability of their plant assets and their businesses. In this presentation we will highlight how they can take advantage of the latest innovations and collaborative engineering technologies to gain a competitive advantage in the global marketplace and the vision ahead.
