Chemical engineers should be playing a pivotal role in developing transformational ideas and actionable technologies for chemical and biological defense solutions. This session will highlight unmet needs, potential opportunities, and current exciting innovations targeted at defense against weapons of mass destruction. Government leaders will present grand challenges along with academic and industry speakers, who will present proposed solutions. The ultimate goal of this session is to fully engage chemical engineers in emerging technologies and resource enabled strategies.
