(222x) Nitrogen Clathrate Hydrate Phase Equilibrium: Measurements of Hydrate Phase Equilibria for Nitrogen + Water + Ethanol

Gas hydrates, or clathrate hydrates are, ice-like solid crystalline compounds, which are former through combination of water and small guest molecules, like nitrogen, under low temperatures and elevated pressures. Gas hydrates formation phenomenon has been used for developing separation processes. In this work we report experimental dissociation points for the systems N₂+H₂O+C₂H₅OH and N₂+H₂O+C₃H₇OH at temperatures between 262 and 282 K and pressures up to 33 MPa.
