Developing a robust fluid bed granulation process is often challenging due to a variety of equipment configurations and interrelated controls. To overcome these challenges we have been developing first principal modeling and simulation tools focused on moisture control profiling. Examples using these tools to model historical batch performance and simulation to design scale up and process DOE’s will be described.
