(695b) The Application of Chemical Engineering Tools to Post-Launch Process Optimization

As pressure grows on companies to deliver increasing levels of process performance and improvement, there is an increased role to play for more effective application of chemical engineering principles to process design and optimization.

In this talk, we will present several case studies discussing the use of advanced process modelling, measurement and control to deliver significant process improvements to existing processes, often within the confines of the regulatory filing. Particular emphasis will be placed on the delivery of improved particle attributes through better reaction engineering, unit operation modelling, crystallization design and isolation optimization.
