Obtaining your PE License: Where is it beneficial and should it be required for all Chemical Engineers?
Monday, November 4, 2013 - 9:20am to 9:45am
Beginning January 1, 2014, NCEES will offer all fundamentals exams in a computer-based format exclusively through approved Pearson VUE testing centers. This transition has been in development for almost three years and has led to many significant changes to include the decision to develop 7 free-standing, discipline-specific FE exams based on curriculum-specific content, a shorter exam length, year-round testing at locations throughout the country and quicker results.
This presentation will provide information on the NCEES content review process that was used to create the new stand-alone computer-based FE Chemical engineering exam and include a detailed comparison of the old and new exam specifications
