Interfacial Phenomena in Energy Systems

Chair(s)

Tsouris, C., Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Co-chair(s)

Pesika, N. S., Tulane University
Aichele, C. P., Oklahoma State University

This session is focused on experimental and modeling work related to energy systems where interfacial phenomena play a determining role. Papers related to fossil energy, nuclear energy, biofuels, and alternative energy are welcome. Examples include energy storage in electrochemical capacitors or batteries, gas/oil processes, nuclear fuel processing and separations, solar energy conversion devices, and biofuel processes. Papers addressing water issues related to energy production are also welcome.
