This session addresses the latest advances in product recovery and impurity reduction through integrated approaches in cell culture and downstream development. Topics should focus on processes aimed at cost reduction, improved efficiency, and successful scalability. Unit operations may include, but are not limited to perfusion culture, centrifugation, microfiltration, advances in deep bed filtration, expanded bed capture, flocculation, precipitation and two-aqueous-phase partitioning.
