From 31st August to 12th October 2012 Fatima Fertilizer Ammonia Plant faced massive catacarb foaming in Towers subsequently carry over to Methanator 4 times during this time period causing gigantic Production Loss. This paper describes how the problem was analyzed, the sequence of events, which tests were performed after consulting with Vendor and how the problem was eventually solved.
