(81e) The Chemical Engineering App for Iphone & Ipad

The Chemical Engineering App for iPad and iPhone were developed to facilitate access to course materials, reference data and calculations for students, educators and professionals in chemical engineering and other STEM disciplines.  In just over 2 years, our apps have a user base > 30,000 in over 165 countries. These mobile applications include relevant data and modules for mass & energy balances, thermodynamics, fluids, separations, controls and other courses.  The apps are available as free downloads on Apple's App Store, effectively making real chemical engineering course materials available to anyone in the world with an iOS device.  Highlights of the Chemical Engineering App will be presented along with our vision for tablets and smartphones in chemical engineering and STEM education.
