Interfacial Phenomena in Energy Systems and Ionic Liquids

Chair(s)

Aichele, C. P., Oklahoma State University

Co-chair(s)

Willing, G. A., University of Louisville
Li, L., University of Pittsburgh
Alexandridis, P., University at Buffalo - The State University of New York (SUNY)

This session is focused on experimental and modeling work related to energy systems where interfacial phenomena play a determining role. Papers related to fossil energy, nuclear energy, biofuels, and alternative energy are welcome. Examples include energy storage in electrochemical capacitors or batteries, gas/oil processes, nuclear fuel processing and separations, solar energy conversion devices, and biofuel processes. Papers addressing water issues related to energy production are also welcome.
