(625ag) The Driving Need for Sustainability in Innovation

Innovation is being applied to sustainable projects around the world.  Whether these projects are politically, fiscally, or socially driven they really make their true impact once they can operate sustainably. 

Oftentimes green efforts are reliant on tax credits or donations to run commercially.  This approach creates a hand to mouth cycle that cannot continue in perpetuity and often times stifles innovation and growth. 

Applying economic, engineering, and entrepreneurial metrics to an innovative can help shape its development in a way that allows for it to make a societal impact for generations.  These methods are discussed in the presentation.
