In shaping AIChE and the profession of chemical engineering for the future, it is incumbent upon us to recognize that the evolution of the field is tied to the evolution of individual careers. To ensure a bright future, diversity and inclusion must be at the core of how chemical engineering is defined and all who aspire to and do enter our profession must maintain a sense of belonging. This presentation will provide context and address future directions as they relate to career development.
