How Engineers Can Work Effectively with in-House Counsel
Monday, October 30, 2017 - 1:45pm to 3:00pm
The submission of experimental data is often necessary when prosecuting patent applications in the chemical arts. Inventors, however, may be unavailable to provide the additional experimental data, or laboratory space may be unavailable due to new projects. By proactively working with patent counsel from an early stage, inventors can address experimental data during conception and avoid later problems in prosecution. This presentation looks at typical scenarios where experimental evidence could have been easily generated during conception and included in the original patent application.
