More and more refiners are now acknowledging Dividing Wall
Columns (DWC) as a means to reduce CAPEX and OPEX. In the past, DWCs were
installed only for systems requiring low purities. Now, there are DWCs in
operation requiring high purities and recovery levels.
The presentation will focus on case studies from actual
DWC units in operation. The application of DWCs in gas plants provides a
significant advantage in LPG recovery levels. These case studies will further
focus on unique DWC installations in FCC, Coker & CCR unit gas plants.
