(534i) Production of Fuels from Coal-Biomass Feedstock using Fischer-Tropsch

The Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is actually composed of four sub-processes: gasification, gas clean-up, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and product upgrading. The impact of feedstock (coal, natural gas, biomass) and mixtures of these feedstocks upon each sub-process will be discussed. The major impact of the feedstock is on the first two sub-processes: gasification and gas clean-up.
