(582cr) Catalysis Research Gas Analysis Using Micro GC Fusion

Greater demand for alternative energy sources has led to an increase in research involving sustainable energy conversion systems. Micro GC Fusion is an ideal tool for catalysis gas analysis. A 2 module configuration can be used as a solution to several gas analysis applications including general purpose energy gas analysis such as landfill gas and syngas analysis. It can also be used in Catalysis Research gas analysis or thermal and catalytic conversion of carbon based material to desired products. Some examples of these alternative energy applications include the conversion of solid waste and biomass to synthetic fuels, liquid fuels to hydrogen, and greenhouse gases to fuels.

A micro gas chromatograph (GC) uses microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) components to miniaturize injection and detection subsystems, greatly reducing size and weight. Micro GC Fusion offers significant throughput gain through rapid temperature programming and modular architecture. The modular GC platform allows for parallel analysis of fixed gases and hydrocarbons. In addition, Micro GC Fusion’s rapid temperature ramping through resistive column heating technology extends the application range on each column reducing downtime by providing the option to build a bakeout into the method.

Analytical results in less than 3 minutes ensures that ongoing projects and deadlines can be effortlessly met. An integrated design and a web-based user interface to add to ease of use. Micro GC Fusion offers exceptional precision and a simple, cost effective means to meet the needs of catalysis gas analysis.
