Research Interests: Chemistry and Physics of Biological Fluids on the Mesoscopic Scale. The complex behavior of fluids such as the cytoplasm of the cell and the blood in veins encompasses rich viscoelastic phenomena, interesting rheology and dynamics. We use state-of-the-art computer modeling and simulations to bridge the atomistic, mesoscopic and continuum length scales to study these fluids in health and disease.
