(8a) Introductory Remarks by Nada Anid

PAIC aims to identify, respond to, and communicate public-policy issues at local, national, and international levels. It also aids AIChE members in learning how to communicate better with government and the public. In light of this mission, the goal of the Town Hall meeting is 1) to share the findings of three PAIC Task Forces and get the members’ input on each and on other matters of importance to the AIChE membership and 2) to consider the best means of communication to enhance the standing of the AIChE community and express its stand on policy matters.
