Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2),is an environmentally benign and powerful chemical oxidant being able to eliminate a wide range of harmful bacteria and inorganic pollutants in water. Electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) offers a sustainable way for local synthesis and onsite applications.1–3 In this talk, I summarize the recent developments and efforts in electrochemical synthesis of hydrogen peroxide guided by both theory and experiment. 1–6
