Current OPEX initiatives often leave hidden and untapped opportunity, as some plant constraints remain unsolved. Dealing with them requires: - Correct identification of sequential bottlenecks. - A robust problem solving process to eliminate speed bottlenecks as well a process control and engineering issues that give rise to repetitive failure. The aim of this workshop will be to look at the concepts of line improvement strategy and an advanced approach to problem solving that has been used successfully in complex environments where large operational and bottom line benefit is required Synopsis: This workshop is designed to help accelerate operational and financial improvement in complex process environments. The techniques have been developed over 2 decades and some are not public domain. The session will cover: -Line improvement strategy: how to determine an optimum debottlenecking strategy in an optimal timeframe at minimal capital cost. -Advanced Problem Solving: through real life case studies, you will have the opportunity to learn a process that successfully allows participants to understand, control and eliminate the most complex issues that relate to quality, throughput and repetitive downtime. There will also be an opportunity in a social environment to discuss the common organisational blockers to rapid improvement and how to deal with them.
